Bench Has Vanished!

Yesterday would have been her 79th birthday and so I went to her bench, only to discover that it has vanished. So I planted some flowers there together with the rest of her ashes and went to the council to see what has happened.

Just got back from meeting two of my dearest friends at Gaby's bench on what would have been her 77th birthday. It was wonderful spending some quality time reminicing with my pals. It's what she would have wanted. 🙏

 I findly refer to Mary as my virtual Mom/Mum.  It was wonderful spending time with her on my real Mum's memorial bench last Friday x

Bench has some TLC thanks to Richmond Council ❤️

It's been thirteen years since my Mother's passing.  When I went to have a little chat with her at her beautiful spot last month, I noticed that her bench needed some restoration work.

So I called several carpenters.  But none of them said they could do this kind of work.

So I contacted Richmond council to see if they could help find a craftsman who could help.  Earlier this evening, I got this email:

Dear Marc

Please see attached photo of your mother’s bench which has been repaired.
